Interactive light displays synchronized to different musical instruments.
Description:
Explore 50 acres of The Morton Arboretum's majestic trees during this spectacular light and sound display. The event features 17 displays of lights and music that highlight the beauty of trees in winter. Enjoy immersive installations, including a secluded glade strung with fairy lights and kinetic LED tall grasses honoring Midwest native species. Warm up by a crackling fire and roast marshmallows for s’mores, or stop at concession tents for snacks and beverages along the Illumination trail. A temperature-activated, color-changing ceramic mug will be available for purchase on all Illumination dates.

Sparkle Light Festival

Interactive holiday light display with ice skating and tubing.
Description:
Sparkle Light Festival at Impact Field in Rosemont features a brand new, completely redesigned layout with an ice skating rink. Visitors can stroll through five illuminated villages, visit Santa Claus, enjoy free train rides, and go tubing down the Alpine Slide. Festive food and beverage options are also available.
